<p>Joseph Anthony Cumo, Jr., 74, of New Castle passed away the morning of June 7, 2025 at his son’s residence.</p><p><br></p><p>Joseph was born in New Castle on February 22, 1951. He is survived by his father, Joseph Anthony Cumo, Sr. of Pueblo, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Colia-Cumo.</p><p><br></p><p>Joseph had worked for many years as a Maintenance Technician for several different manufacturing companies, until he retired.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Some of Joseph’s favorite hobbies was listening to the Beatles and watching old television shows and movies. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved spending time with them. Joseph also loved being with his family and eating his Italian Sunday Dinners.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his father, Joseph is survived by his two children, David (Heather) Cumo, and Mark (Alejandra) Cumo, his sister, Barbara Ann Cumo and three grandchildren, David Joseph Cumo, Anthony Charles Cumo and Angelina Maria Cumo.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Vogan.</p><p><br></p><p>Honoring his wishes, services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>February 22, 1951 - June 7, 202502/22/195106/07/2025
