<p>Please click this link to view the live stream of the service. </p><p> </p><p>It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Barton Michelson, on June 4, 2025, at the age of 101 years. </p><p>Glen was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Jo and their son, Barry. He leaves to mourn his daughter -in-law Laurie, his grandchildren Jill Campbell of Coaldale, Alberta, Heather (Sam) Gazes of Reno, Nevada, and his great grandchildren Hayley, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Elias and Lexi. </p><p>Glen was born March 12, 1924 in Stirling, Alberta to Rasmus and Lulu Pearl Michelson. Glen and his brothers Ralph (deceased), Dwaine (deceased), Bruce (Maple Ridge, British Columbia) and sisters Marie (deceased) and Arlene (Salt Lake City, Utah) grew up on the family farm together where they learned valuable life skills. </p><p>Some of the accomplishments he was most proud of was his involvement with Ducks Unlimited, and his service with the RCMP and Lethbridge Police. He retired from LPS in 1984 but it continued to play a huge role in his life. </p><p>Glen lived an amazing life full of stories that everyone loved to listen to. He will be greatly missed by his family and all of the many friends he met along the way. </p><p>The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday June 9, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 205 Fairmont Blvd S. Lethbridge, Alberta , with Bishop Mike Smith conducting. </p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family, prior to the services, in the Relief Society Room of the church at 10:00 am. </p>June 4, 202506/04/2025
