<p>Michael Douglas Boone, age 77 of Andalusia, Al passed away May 29, 2025 in a Pensacola, Fl hospital. Mike was born in Cullman, Al, but the family moved to the Fort Walton Beach, Fl area when he was a small child. He lived in the Fort Walton Beach area until 1982 when he, his wife Becky, and their two sons moved to Laurel Hill, Fl. where he and his father built their new family home. They resided there until 2008</p><p>when they decided to move to Andalusia, Al. Mike was very skilled in woodworking, mechanics, and welding, and became an excellent cook in his later years. He was employed for many</p><p>years by Preston Hood Chevrolet, working in their parts department. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Harold and Betty Boone of Laurel Hill, Fl and his first born son Timothy who passed in</p><p>1998. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Rebecca Boone of Andalusia; son, Gavin Boone of Andalusia; brother Patrick Boone; and</p><p>granddaughter Mikayla Boone (Nathan Olszewski) of Chesapeake, Ohio.</p><p>A service in his honor will be held graveside at Magnolia Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Fl on Saturday June 7, at 11:00 A M, Rev. Ken Jackson presiding. Music will be provided by Mr Tim Quigley, a very long time friend of the family.
