<p>Joelene E. Carini 86, of Brick died Friday, August 25, at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born and raised in Lodi, she lived for many years in Wyckoff, before moving to Lakewood in 1999. She was employed as a registered nurse and was employed at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack before retiring in 1975. She was an incredibly creative and artistic woman whose first love was fashion design. She is predeceased by her husband, Adolph Vincent Carini, who died in 1997, and her son, Vincent Carini, who died in 2012. Surviving is her daughter, Andrea Carini of Toronto, Canada, a brother, Vincent Toscano of Florida, a sister, Antonia Rulli of Lavallette, and 3 grandchildren, Daiman, Téa, and Aidan. There are no calling hours, and a private cremation will take place.</p>September 18, 1930 - August 28, 201709/18/193008/28/2017
