<p>Paula Karen-Ann (Johnson) Hilton (born in Hartford, CT 3/17/1943), passed away with loving family by her side in Prescott, AZ on Saturday morning, May 10, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was pre-deceased by parents (Alice and Gustav Johnson of West Hartford, CT), brother (Wayne Gustav Johnson of Granby, CT – age 43) and son (Michael Roberts Hilton of Southington, CT – age 12) She is survived by son, David Gustav Hilton of Prescott, AZ, Deborah Tiffany Hilton of Flagstaff, AZ, grandchildren, Michael David Hilton and Samantha Mary Hilton of Prescott, AZ as well as a niece, Lauree Coffey of Massachusetts and 2 nephews, Kevin Johnson of Rhode Island and Kurt Johnson of Connecticut.</p><p><br></p><p>Before moving to Prescott in 1995, Paula lived in West Hartford and Southington, CT and Quonochontaug, RI. She was a 1961 graduate of Conard High School, West Hartford, CT and 1964 graduate of Lasell University, Newton, Massachusetts. In Connecticut, she worked as a Realtor and with the Southington Observer newspaper art department. She also worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb RD and UCONN through Hartford Hospital Department of Medicine. In Arizona, she worked at Ruger Investment casting and as a Realtor with RE/MAX until retiring in 2018. After retiring, she took up the joy of watercolor taking lessons and exhibiting at Yavapai College and around the Prescott area. She was a certified Yavapai County Master Gardener and spent many hours happily volunteering at the VA Greenhouse. She enjoyed hiking, gardening, painting, photography, boating, her animals and mostly, being close with friends and devoted family.</p><p><br></p><p>A small memorial for friends and family will be held at Heritage Memory Mortuary on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 1-4pm. </p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made in Paula Hilton’s memory to Prescott Humane Society, Wounded Warrior Project, and/or Heifer International.</p><p><br></p>
