<p>Janet C. Weaver, 87, formerly of Centerport, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Complete Care at Berkshire. She previously resided at Celebration Villa of Exeter. Janet was the wife of Donald A. Weaver, who died March 24, 2012.</p><p><br></p><p> Born in Maidencreek Twp., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Edith P. (Machemer) Shollenberger. Janet was a 1955 graduate of Ontelaunee High School. She did clerical work for her father at Shollenberger Farm Supplies; and then for her husband's farm supply business. Janet also worked part-time at the Centerport Post Office and Spatz's lunch counter at the Leesport Auction. She was an active member of Salem (Belleman's) Church and would bake, cook and make candy for church functions. Janet was a member of Conrad Weiser Chapter No. 449 Order of Eastern Star and Central Berks Fire Company, Centerport. She enjoyed baking, cooking, needle work, gardening, quilting and playing cards with her friends. </p><p><br></p><p> Janet is survived by her two sons: Mark S. Weaver, husband of Christine, Muhlenberg Twp.; and Andrew J. Weaver, husband of Rusarqui, Zephyrhills, Florida; five grandchildren: Jonathan, husband of Maddison; Olivia; Madison; Noah and Alexander; one great-granddaughter: Elliana; and two step-grandchildren: Rosie and Ronald. She is also survived by her sister-in-law: Mary (Rothenberger) Shollenberger; and brother-in-law: Ronald Mengel. Janet was predeceased by her brother: John G. Shollenberger; and sister: Anna R. Mengel.</p><p><br></p><p> Services will be held on Saturday at 10:45 am from Salem (Belleman's) Church, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the church Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 am, with the Eastern Star service at 10:30 am.
