<p>Everly Gordon was born on May 15, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio to Willie Mae Howard and Joseph Howard. She was called home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2025 at the age of 72. </p><p><br></p><p>Everly accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member at Amazing Grace Christian Center where she served the Lord wholeheartedly until her health prevented her from doing so.</p><p><br></p><p>Everly attended Edward Drummond Libbey High School, during which time she fell in love with and excelled in the sport of swimming. Everly earned many awards and accolades, while setting numerous records. Everly met the love of her life Willie Gordon Sr and from this union created a family with four beautiful children. </p><p><br></p><p>Everly was a hard worker. She spent many years working for Ashland Nursing Home and Frostbite Brands Inc, before eventually retiring from MCO Medical College after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Everly's love and compassion for others led her to volunteer for many years with the American Red Cross. Everly had many interests, including bowling and cooking. Everly especially loved to cook for her family and dear friends, as her most requested dish was her dressing.</p><p><br></p><p>Everly had a heart of gold that was undeniable and resonated with everyone she encountered. Her genuine love along with her infectious smile was a true reflection of the God she served. </p><p><br></p><p>Everly was preceded in death by Both parents; brothers Joe Howard, Jr, Nathan Howard, Philitus Howard, Robert Howard; sisters Roberta Howard, Mae Hendricks, Maxine Bruster and grandson Keyron Elijah Pettaway. </p><p><br></p><p>Everly leaves to cherish her memory; life long partner Willie Gordon Sr; daughters Florice Gordon, Roberta Gordon, Shanda (Dale) Barnhill; son Willie (Kylee) Gordon Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters Beverly Barnes, Celestine Smith (Harrisburg, PA); brothers Willie "Bud" Howard and Bert Howard (Ohio); special friends; Margaret Johnson, Gloria Jackson, Cheryl Bennett, Shirley Smith, MCO family, Lillian Davis; her card crew and karaoke crew and a host of family and friends.</p>
