<p>John Ross Taylor, 41, of New Martinsville, WV passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Wetzel County Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>John was born February 2, 1984, in New Martinsville, WV son of James Taylor and the late Twila (Wilson) Taylor.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a laborer, enjoying hunting, fishing and being in the woods.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Wilson Longwell and Taylor Tedrow.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving in addition to his father are his children, Dakota (Cody) Leek of New Martinsville, WV, Isabell Taylor and Jayden Taylor both of New Martinsville, WV and Arayah Duke of Paden City, WV; five siblings, Christy (Mark) Partridge of New Martinsville, WV, Gene Taylor of Sistersville, WV, Jimmy (Christina) Taylor of New Martinsville, WV, Tina (Don) Kennedy of Burton, WV and Joanna (John) Thomas of Middlebourne, WV; companion, Larissa Duke and several nieces, nephews and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends received 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, (Family is not having anything on Mother’s Day) at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2025.
