<p><b>Jimmy Don Dotson,</b> 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, at his home in Granbury. He was born April 30, 1942, in Patton Ville, Texas to James and Geraldine Dotson.</p><p><br></p><p>Jimmy Don was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking as well as gardening, growing just about anything.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Susan Dotson and a brother Marshall Dotson.</p><p><br></p><p>Jimmy Don is survived by his daughters, Terri Kahlden and husband David, Shelli Dotson, and Sherri Melonas; stepdaughter, Amanda Rodriguez and step-son, Wes Thompson and wife Kim; (11) grandchildren and (9) great-grandchildren; brothers Johnny Dotson and wife Sara, Randy Dotson and wife Sylvia, and Ronnie Dotson; sisters Jeanette Prellwitz and husband Charles and Debbie Reese and husband Alan; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be from 5-7pm. Monday, May 12th, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside services will be held at 1pm. on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery, 9632 Nubbin Ridge Court in Granbury (Hood County, Texas) under the direction and care of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.</p><p><br></p>April 30, 1942 - May 6, 202504/30/194205/06/2025
