<p>Alice Juanita Smallwood Daniell, age 81, of Bremen, Georgia, passed away on May 7, 2025, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born on September 18, 1943, in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Willie Edmond Smallwood and Lurlene Robinson Smallwood. She retired from the Georgia Court of Appeals in 2010.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Edmond Smallwood.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her daughters, Shana Smith of Hoover, Alabama, and Sharla Shockley of Forsyth, Georgia; grandchildren, Justin Smith, Andy Smith, Coleman Shockley, and Brady Shockley; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Smith and Nate Hoskins.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home, with Dr. Corky Addison officiating.
