<p>Judith “Judy” Ellen (Miller) Wrolstad went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 3, 2025. Judy was born on January 5, 1944 in Menomonie, WI. She graduated from Menomonie High School in 1962 and from Stout State University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. She became a Social Worker at Chippewa County Hospital and then at the Eau Claire Manor Nursing Home. A hardworking single mother of two, she married Darrell Wrolstad on December 2, 1972 in Eau Claire. She then began work on a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at the University of WI-Stout, graduating in 1978. After the family moved to Stoughton, WI, she became the Director of the Skaalen Foundation and later, worked for the Stoughton Area School District as Public Information Coordinator and substitute teacher. As Public Relations Coordinator, she won 21 state and national awards for the district. Judy spent much time in various district buildings, covering the various events and being held by teachers and students. She was affectionately known by many as the “picture lady”. Judy belonged to several professional organizations including the National Association of Social Workers, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Wisconsin School Public Relations Association and locally, the Stoughton Village Players. She loved to garden and landscape, read and study the Bible and host family and friends in her home for holidays and special meals. Judy loved her children and grandchildren without condition. She was often consulted by them to help solve friends’ problems.</p><p>Judy leaves behind her loving husband Darrell, children Lorelyn (Russ) Leisure, Joel (Ruth) Husby, Ryan Wrolstad (special friend Jamie), Jeremy (Kristin) Wrolstad; Ten grandchildren; Joseph, Brianna (Tyler) Fero, Nickolas (Stephanie) Scarpelli, Hayden and Emma Wrolstad, and Olivia, William and Daniel Wrolstad; Amanda and Daniel Veith; sisters Jane Olson, Joy Grossman, brothers John (Barbara) Miller, Jeffry (Stephanie) Miller, ten nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Virginia Miller and her youngest sister, Jennifer.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday May 9, 2025 at Fulton Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Rainbow Hospice of Johnson's Creek. The Albrecht Funeral Homes &amp; Cremation Services, Milton is assisting the family with arrangements.</p><p><br></p>
