<p>DEGRECHIE, Roseanne Marie - Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 4th, 2025. Roseanne DeGrechie (nee LaRose) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Joseph William “Bill” DeGrechie. Loving mother of Derrick of Barrie and the late Clinton DeGrechie. Caring grandmother of Aaron and Justin. Predeceased by her parents John "Jack" and Trajena Larose (nee Demers), by sisters Rita (the late Dillon) Graveline, Ella (the late George) Clarke, Simone (the late Bob) Handspiker and Cecile (the Lloyd) Piercey, by brothers Theodore (the late Maureen), Lawrence (the late Anne) and Wilfred (the late Irene) LaRose. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Roseanne started her career at Abitibi at a young age of 14. She worked at H. & R. Block for 30 years. Roseanne was a proud honors graduate of the Adult and Continuing Education Centre, Pembroke. A long-time member of La Fédération des femmes canadienne françaises, Jeanne Lajoie Breakfast Club and Pembroke Regional Hospital Ladies’ Auxiliary. Roseanne in her spare time, loved to play cards. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday, May 9th, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Pembroke on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Schizophrenia Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
