Linda Marie Carter
<p>Linda M. Carter, 73, of De Pere, passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born on July 7, 1951, in Green Bay to Leo and Rose (Colavitti) Ault.</p><p><br></p><p>A Graduate of Green Bay West, she was married to Michael Carter in 1979. She was most recently employed by Toys R Us and Shopko Optical until her retirement.</p><p>She enjoyed any sort of craft project. She also enjoyed her time in Silver Cliff spending the summers on the pontoon. Recently she and Mike have been travelling to state parks for fun.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda will be dearly missed by her husband Michael Carter; Sons Brian (Sabina), Jerry (Brenda) grandchildren Kelsey, Kincaid and Kennedy and great grandson Jonah. She is further survived by her mother, Rose, siblings Lonza (Pat), Karen, Douglas (Kim), Brenda (Ted) and Robin. Numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her closest Aunt, Kathy Colavitti.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was preceded in death by her father, brother Steve Ault, Sister-in-law Mary (Hank) Burkel and mother and father-in-law.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM Friday, May 9, 2025, until the time of service at 7:00PM with Fr. Richard Getchel officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>A special thanks to Mark (Jackie) Burkel and Debbie (Dave) Berndt for their support during this difficult time and the gift of their mother, Aunt Mary Burkel, who also passed as a result of the accident.</p><p><br></p><p></p>July 7, 1951 - April 26, 202507/07/195104/26/2025
