<p>Judith Rene Schlopert, age 78, of Prescott, MI., passed away on April 28, 2025, at her home. Judy was born on July 26, 1946, in Flint, MI., to the late Elmer and Leona (Sullivan) Kodat. She was one of four children, raised in the Flint area, but eventually moved to the Prescott area.</p><p>Judy enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and working her flower beds, bird watching and feeding the birds, coin collecting, and spending time online. She was also an avid card player. Most of all though was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.</p><p>Judy is survived by her children, Karen (Stacy) Weaver, Mark (Sara) Schlopert, John (Jennifer) Schlopert; brother, Darwin Kodat; sister, Kris (Al) Reynolds; grandchildren, Arica, Zachary, Josh, Cassie, Noel, Shelby, Jenna, Olivia, Justin, Markie, Daniel, Kaleb, Aimelia; great-grandchildren, Braden, Ainsley, Renly, Blayke, Teigan, Grace, and many nieces and nephews.</p><p>Judy is preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, Carl Schlopert, husband, Joseph Krysinski, brother, Dan Kodat.</p><p>Family will hold services at the Prescott Funeral Home, 101 E. Harrison St. 48756, on Friday, May 2, 2025. Visitation at 2:00pm and funeral at 4:00pm.
