<p>In Loving Memory Of </p><p>Vicki Lynn Hoffmann </p><p>Vicki Hoffmann was born in Slayton, Minnesota on April 18, 1953, to Don and Ellen (Knapper) Kathman.&nbsp; She grew up in Slayton and graduated from Slayton High School in 1971.&nbsp; She married the love of her life, Ed Hoffmann, on June 17, 1972, and they started their family, living their entire married lives in Slayton.&nbsp; Vicki stayed at home to raise their 4 children and helped Ed with his business, Hoffmann Construction.&nbsp; She also worked as a paraprofessional at MCC Elementary School for several years.&nbsp; Vicki gave back to her community by volunteering at MCC Schools, her church and the Slayton Manor.&nbsp; She enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and watching all Minnesota sports teams, cheering loudest for the Vikings.&nbsp; She loved spending time with everyone at the family lake cabin where she made endless stacks of chocolate chip pancakes for the grandkids every morning.&nbsp; She was an excellent cook but would never believe us when we said that her gravy was as good as her mom’s.&nbsp; She loved a good cup of coffee and visiting with people as she ran her errands around town.&nbsp; Vicki was strong in her faith and was known to be strong and feisty, especially over the past 2 years as she battled cancer and lung disease without a tear or complaint.&nbsp; Vicki passed away surrounded by her family on April 24, 2025, at the Our House Hospice Home.&nbsp; She was a member of Faith Community Lutheran Church in Slayton.&nbsp; May she now rest easy in the arms of her Savior.&nbsp; Blessed be her memory. </p><p>Vicki is survived by Ed, her husband of 52 years and 4 children.&nbsp; Nikki (Jeff) Cheskie of Avoca, Staci (Derek) Bundesen of Hills, Jesse (Amy) Hoffmann of Slayton, and Justin (Katie) Hoffmann of Slayton.&nbsp; 9 grandchildren:&nbsp; Kyle and Drew Cheskie, Grace (Preston) Wilhelmi, Ty Bundesen, Brody and Josie Hoffmann, Easton, Mason and Emma Hoffmann, and 1 great-grandson on the way.&nbsp; Her sister, Conni Baker of Coon Rapids, brother-in-law, Rick Manderscheid of Slayton, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Lori Manderscheid, brother, Terry Kathman, brother-in-law, Jim Baker, nephew, Blake Manderscheid, and great-niece, Lorin Prahm. </p><p>Memorial Services </p><p>Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton, MN on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Erica Varcoe officiating.&nbsp; The pianist is Heidi Winter.&nbsp; The honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren.&nbsp; Interment is at Slayton Memorial Gardens in Slayton, MN.&nbsp; </p><p>Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton from 4-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Thursday.&nbsp; Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.&nbsp; To view online obituary and send condolences visit totzkefuneralhome.com.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Murray County Relay for Life, Hospice of Murray County, or the Faith Community Lutheran Building Fund. </p>
