In Loving Memory of Edward M Wallace

April 19, 1964 – April 10, 2025

Edward M Wallace, of Magnolia, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, just shy of his 64th birthday. Born on April 19, 1961, in Philadelphia, PA, Ed was a man of few words but immeasurable love, loyalty, and quiet strength.

For 35 years, Ed worked for Western Fumigation, where he was admired not only for his work ethic but for his leadership and dedication. He was honored with multiple awards, including the prestigious President’s Club, and was promoted early in his career to Team Leader — a role he carried with humility and pride.

Beyond work, Ed was a man of many interests. He found joy in gardening, building model trains and planes, wood working, home brewing, hunting, crabbing, clamming, and fishing. A lifelong learner, he had a deep passion for world history and a strong sense of civic duty — always informed, always engaged, and a steadfast supporter of our nation’s leadership.

But above all, Ed's heart belonged to his family. Married for 42 years to the love of his life, Linda Maria “Morabito” Wallace, Ed devoted every day to ensuring she wanted for nothing. He was a loving, present, and fiercely loyal husband, father, and friend. Ed raised four sons — Edward (Maria), Brian (Michele), Robert (Rosie), and Alan-Michael (Kiersten) — instilling in each of them the values of respect, responsibility, and devotion. He raised men who became loving husbands and fathers, following his quiet but powerful example.

Ed grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, raised by his beloved Grandmother Elizabeth Wallace, mother Anna Marie Wallace and his father figure Thorwald “Richie” Jensen. He carried those early life lessons with him always — the importance of family, the meaning of hard work, and the power of doing the right thing without needing recognition. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Marie Wallace, His father figure Thorwald Richie Jensen, and his best friend Brian Kane. Ed leaves behind his devoted wife Linda, his four sons and their spouses along with 7 grandchildren and loving niece Jennifer Sullivan. Even in passing, Ed chose to give — as an organ and tissue donor, he continues to help others in need, just as he did throughout his life. Ed Wallace will be remembered not just for what he said, but for all he did. His legacy is not loud — it’s lasting. In the quiet, in the everyday acts of love and care, Ed’s spirit endures. Ed also left behind his beloved pets Clutch and Jaz

And as he often joked during his long, dedicated career: “If I die, drive my butt to work and leave me there.” That was Ed — always working, always giving, and always making us laugh, even in the hardest moments.

Honorable mentions- Hunting buddies- Jimmy Martin, Joe Daly, and Jack McInnes SR.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Zale Funeral Home

712 N White Horse Pike, Stratford, NJ 08084

Flowers or donations to support his wife are appreciated but not necessary — your love and memories are more than enough.
