<p>Cheryl Niles-Okie 35, of Stroudsburg PA, passed away Monday,&nbsp;March 17, 2025 she died by being shot multiple times by her husband of&nbsp;seven years in an inexplicable act of violence. In addition of her parents she is survived by her children Caysen, 12,</p><p>Makenna 6 and Emma 4.</p><p>Cheryl was born on April 11, 1989 in Long Island NY, daughter of John and&nbsp;Valentina Niles and grew up as a happy, heathy child, full of energy and desire to succeed in her actions.</p><p>She attended Monsignor McHugh catholic kindergarten and school and&nbsp;finished high school at Pocono Mtn West.</p><p>Cheryl loved outdoors activities of swimming, ski, cheerleading and also&nbsp;loved playing piano, clarinet and flute.</p><p>Following school she took courses at Bloomsburg Univ, Community&nbsp;College in Vermont and East Stroudsburg University.</p><p>After all this, she decided to become a licensed nurse and practiced for a&nbsp;while.</p><p>Later on, she developed a passion for plants and she started a successful&nbsp;business with rare plants in Clinton NJ being recognized by local TV and&nbsp;Radio stations.</p><p>She was a good mother excelling in raising her beautiful three children and being a loving and devoted wife.</p><p>Unfortunately, this happy stage in her life, with her children she adored and&nbsp;a job she loved, was brutally terminated through an irrational violent&nbsp;domestic attack.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Visitation will be held on Monday,&nbsp; March 24th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home at 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA. Burial will be Tuesday March 25th at 12:00pm at Stroudsburg Cemetery.</p>
