<p>Our dear mother Marina (Rodriquez) Orlando sadly passed away on Wednesday March 12th 2025, at the age of 82 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful wife to Domenico Orlando , mother to Matilde (Jim) Murray and Joseph (Heather) Orlando. She was Nonna to James and Wesley Murray and she was one of 11 siblings to the Deaza-Rodriquez Family. She was a friend who was always there when we needed her the most".</p><p>"Our mother, Marina, was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth.” She was born in Columbia South America and left her job in the air force to become an American Citizen. She was a nanny, restaurant entrepreneur, worked for Ma Bell in Manhattan and a nurse where she retired from Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation. Our family and friends were blessed to have her in our lives. She was a beautiful angel on earth who now has her wings. She will greatly be missed and loved by so many.</p><p><br></p><p>“If you're going to live, leave behind a legacy. Make an impact on the world that can never be erased.” Maya Angelou</p>
