Terence Charles “Terry” Martin
<p>Terence Charles “Terry” Martin, age 60, of Jonesville, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 24, 1964, in Hillsdale, Michigan, to Robert and Dorothy (Draper) Martin. Terry married Laura Ann Hunt on July 12, 1986, and she preceded him in death on November 14, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Terry graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1982, and he went on to study auto mechanics at the Hillsdale Career Center. He was formerly employed at Essex Wire and Dow Chemical in Hillsdale and later retired from Rakers Acres in Litchfield. Terry was a member of the NRA and an avid gun enthusiast. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing with his daughter, and tinkering in his shop. Terry was never one to miss a yard sale or estate auction, always finding the best deals. He also was a great train enthusiast, a passion he shared with his son.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Survivors include one daughter, Brittany (Jonathan) Pichea of Marshall; one son, Kyle Martin of Lennon, Michigan; one sister, Jodi Martin of Hillsdale; and one brother, David Martin of Hillsdale.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>In addition to his beloved wife, Terry was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Diana “Dee Dee” Wise; and one brother, Tom Martin.</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of life for Terry Martin will be announced at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.</p>June 24, 1964 - March 10, 202506/24/196403/10/2025
