<p><p>Paula Lee Newell, 51, of Palestine,WV, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her home.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born October 28 1973, a daughter of Paul Newell (Joyce) and Sible Lee Nichols Green (Charles)</p><p><br></p><p>She survived by sons Zachary, Noah, and Matthew; her partner of 25 years Jeff Lyman; grandkids Bella, Damon, Sophia, Bentley, and Carson; step-sister Sonja Whipkey (Denzil); step-brother Pat Hall; step-children Kris, Austin, Aubrea, Kristal, and Devon; and her fur babies Axle and Trail.</p><p><br></p><p>Paula mother enjoyed spending time with her mom and dad she loved spending time with all of her grandkids playing board games and reading stories to them also loved drawing and coloring her favorite holiday was Christmas because that's when the family would get together at her house. She loved to make crafts with all the family photos. She was very spiritual and loved God.</p><p>She loved to sing and listen to music also her favorite colors were blue and purple</p><p>She loved to do all of her grocery shopping at Walmart.</p><p>She was a beautiful hard working woman that was very honest and caring. She was a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and a lover. She loved spring time because of all the trees and flowers would bloom. She had a wonderful personality and a very big heart. Jeff worked very hard to care for Paula and the boys so that she wouldn’t have to worry about anything.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home 7 Cremation, Inc., 1440 Arnoldsburg Rd., Arnoldsburg, WV 25234, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Jim Lough officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Orma UMC Cemetery.
