<p>After a courageous year-long battle with cancer, Stephanie passed away with her family by her side on Thursday 2/13/25 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, SSF. She was born at Children’s Hospital in San Francisco on 3/24/1987.</p><p><br></p><p>Beloved wife of Joel Leon, loving mother of Camila Marie Leon, Cherished daughter of John and Denise Grey, sister to John (Danielle) and Tyler Grey, Sister in law to Karla and Victor Leon, and aunt to Johnny, Trinity, Daniella, Jimena, Steven, and Mateo, and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by Jack and Cecilia Grey and Gil and Georgia McLaughlin.</p><p><br></p><p>Stephanie attended Terra Nova High School in Pacifica (and graduated in the class of 2005), College of San Mateo, and San Francisco State University where she graduated with an English Education Degree. She worked at Joe’s of Westlake as a waitress before becoming a beloved nanny to Sally Rose and Robby Mitchell.</p><p><br></p><p>Stephanie was an athlete, she succeeded at basketball, water polo, soccer and her favorite, softball. She was an avid Giants fan, and also enjoyed watching the 49ers, Warriors and her favorite soccer teams with family and friends. Stephanie also loved to travel, her, Joel and Camila spent many fun times on numerous trips here and abroad. She also had many more trips planned. Stephanie especially loved our yearly trek to The Redwoods at Richardson Grove Campground.</p><p><br></p><p>Stephanie was a light in our lives that will never fade. We will miss her beautiful smile, her warm heart and her kind and positive outlook on life. Our hearts are broken and she will be forever missed.
