<p><p style="text-align: center">In Loving Memory of&nbsp;<br> Lawrence John<br> Kraeker<br> age 83<br> Lovingly remembered by his sons&nbsp;<br> Vincent (Nicole) and Blake (Joanne),&nbsp;<br> granddaughters Cheryl, Michelle and Kelsey,&nbsp;<br> great granddaughters, Ainsley and Leia,<br> &nbsp;his great grandson Lincoln,&nbsp;<br> his brothers Doug and Barry and his sister Judy.<br> Lawrence was predeceased by his loving wife Gloria, his parents Peter and Margaret and his sister Mary.</p> <p style="text-align: center">Died<br> February 14, 2025<br> Tri-Lake Health Centre<br> Killarney, Manitoba</p> <p style="text-align: center">A private graveside service<br> will be held at the<br> Killarney Cemetery.</p> <p style="text-align: center">Donations in memory of Lawrence may be made to the Tri-Lake Health Centre, Box 5000,&nbsp;<br> Killarney, Manitoba, R0K 1G0</p> <p style="text-align: center">It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Lawrence Kraeker who left us on Friday, February 14, 2025.<br> Lawrence John Kraeker, was born to Peter and Margaret on May 5, 1941 in Winkler, Manitoba.<br> Lawrence met Gloria Kraeker, and they were married February 2, 1963. They moved to Thompson and welcomed their first son Vincent. The young family moved back to Winnipeg and there they welcomed their second son Blake in 1966. They lived in Winnipeg from 1965 until 1967.<br> In 1967, they moved back to Thompson where Lawrence was employed by Inco Mine. In Thompson, Lawrence loved to spend his summers at Paint Lake with his family and friends where they would go camping and go fishing. If Lawrence wasn't at Paint Lake, you would find him at the Legion where he spent many hours volunteering, and spending time with his friends sharing many stories<br> In 1994, Lawrence retired from Inco Mine and he and Gloria made the decision to move to Killarney, Manitoba. It didn't take long for Lawrence and Gloria to make new friends and become part of the community.<br> Lawrence's favorite pastimes included golfing, curling, traveling, and farming in the spring and fall.<br> Lawrence absolutely loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed having friends stop by and have many laughs on the patio.<br> Lawrence is survived by sons Vincent (Nicole) and Blake (Joanne). His three granddaughters Cheryl, Michelle and Kelsey. His two great granddaughters, Ainsley and Leia and his great grandson Lincoln. His brothers Doug and Barry and his sister Judy.<br> Lawrence was predeceased by his loving wife Gloria, his parents Peter and Margaret and his sister Mary.<br> Lawrence's family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Hennessy and the nursing staff at the Killarney hospital for their kind and compassionate care.<br> Lawrence was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all of those who knew him.</p> <p style="text-align: center">&nbsp;</p> </p>
