<p>Monmouth – Margaret “Peggy” H. Pierce, 72, a resident of Monmouth, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, February 16th at her home. She was born December 12, 1943 in Berlin, Connecticut, the daughter of Roger Morse and Hildur (Claudelin) Morse. She was a 1961 graduate of Berlin High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1966 from College-Central Connecticut State University. She married Jeff Webb and they later divorced. She later married Patrick Pierce and he passed away in 2008. She worked as a computer programmer for the State of Maine until her retirement. During her high school and college days she enjoyed the theater groups and singing, as well as reading and crossword puzzles. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Urquhart and her fiancé Scott Gideon of Monmouth; two grandsons, Jesse Urquhart and his wife Brittany of Augusta; and Devin Urquhart of Monmouth; her sister, Sally Caliandri and her husband Don of CT., and her nephews, Mark and David Caliandri of Berlin, CT. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick Pierce in 2008 and her son, Brian Webb in 2000. A graveside service at Readfield Corner Cemetery, Church Road, Readfield, Maine, will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine.
