Willa Mae Street, known to family and friends as "Honey", 96 of Houston, Texas, passed from this life on January 12, 2014. Honey was born January 20, 1917 in Amarillo, Texas to parents, John W. Rollins and Minnie Powers Rollins. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved husband, Austin Leon Street; and by two sisters, Rosemary and Johnnie Lee. She is survived by son, Errol Street & wife, Betty; sister, Dorothy Nell; and by grandchildren, Aaron & Kimberly Street; Elizabeth "Libby" Steele and Lara & Stephen Coronado; by great-grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Robby, Nicole, Leah, Brennen, Austin, Cameron and Dillon. Honey's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her special caregivers, Deborah Williamson and Jennifer Trammel. Visitation and Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home with visitation starting at 12:00 Noon and and Services starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.January 20, 1917 - January 12, 201401/20/191701/12/2014
