Michael John Cotter, 59, of Jacinto City, passed from his early home on May 9, 2010. Michael was born July 26, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles Michael Cotter and Frances Louise (Clayton) Cotter. He is preceded in death by father, Charles Michael Cotter, by brother, John Mark Cotter and infant son, Baby Boy Cotter. He is survived by his mother, Frances Cotter; by daughter, Angela Wootton; step-children, Lyn Taylor and Patrick Elder; by brother, Timothy J. Cotter & wife, Lois Ann; as well as by grandchildren, Travis Taylor Wootton, Ava Denise Wootton, Shelby Rowe and Jett K. Taylor; by nieces, Christina Toler & husband Jeff; Sarah Cotter and Rebekah Cotter; numerous other family and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, from 4-8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home with services 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 13 in Carter’s Chapel with Pastor Larry Sopchak officiating.
