<p><p>Monica E. (O’Shea) Collins, 72, of Betsy Drive, passed away on February 10, 2025, at home. She was the wife of Guy M. Collins.</p><br> <p>Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of Alice (Machado) O’Shea-Ferrick and the late Edward L. O’Shea. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her children: Jesse (Polly) Dubuc of St. Augustine, Florida and Renee (Dominic) Collins of Port St. Lucy, Florida; grandchildren: Carmine and Lucia; and siblings: Danny (Susan) O’Shea of Pawtucket, and Alicia Ambrose of Chicago, IL.</p><br> <p>Monica was a 1970 class graduate from Barrington High School. She attended Rhode Island College before working at the Rhode Island DMV as a clerk for 10 years. Monica enjoyed being with her family. She enjoyed camping, being out on the boat, visiting Charlestown, Rhode Island, and walking along the beach. </p><br> <p>Monica was an avid reader and enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles. Her favorite times of the year were Halloween and July 4th. She loved going to Florida to spend time with her family. Monica was also a big fan of the Rolling Stones. She’ll never forget the time she went to their concert in San Francisco, when Mick Jagger looked right at her.</p><br> <p>Friends and family are invited to attend Monica's memorial service on Friday, February 28, 9 AM - 12 PM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street.
