<p>Melody Grace Cook, 30, of Martinsburg passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025.</p><p><br></p><p>Born August 16, 1994 in Martinsburg she is the daughter of Alan Hugh Watson, Sr. and Lori (LeMaster) Watson.</p><p><br></p><p>Melody was a graduate of Musselman High School in 2012, continuing her education at Shepherd University, graduating with her bachelor’s in social work in 2016. She then proceeded to get her master’s in social work from Salisbury University in 2020. She made a big impact working as a case worker with Berkeley County Schools through Martinsburg Initiative. Prior to that she touched many lives working at Burlington United Methodist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Melody leaves behind her parents, a beautiful daughter, Isabella Rae Cook, one sister, Delaney Lison (John); one brother, Alan “AJ Watson (Jasmine); a niece and a nephew Kennedy and Jordan Watson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by an older brother, Nickolas Watson.</p><p><br></p><p>Family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Raymond Bouchoc officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be in Payne's Chapel Cemetery.</p><p><br></p>August 16, 1994 - February 1, 202508/16/199402/01/2025
