<p>Linnea Louise Hom, 74, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, at her home in Fayetteville, GA.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on November 24, 1950, in Malden Massachusetts to Carol Thurlow and John Anderson. Linnea was the eldest of eight siblings. John, Jim, Carol, Sue, Owen, Cara and Melissa. She embraced her role as a big sister with warmth and guidance, setting an example for those who followed. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her family with unwavering devotion.</p><p><br></p><p>Linnea pursued multiple passions throughout her life. She worked in interior design with her mother, bringing creativity and beauty into spaces. She also served as a nurse, offering care and compassion to those in need. After nursing, she devoted herself to being a homemaker, creating a loving and welcoming environment for her family.</p><p><br></p><p>A woman of faith, Linnea was a Christian who found strength in her beliefs and comfort in knowing Jesus.</p><p><br></p><p>Her love for traveling allowed her to explore new places and experiences, while reading and sewing brought her moments of quiet joy. She had a keen eye for interior design and (borderline ocd) organization skills that extended into every space she touched. Family gatherings were at the heart of her happiness- whether at cookouts at Nana’s house or camping trips to Helen GA, she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.</p><p><br></p><p>Linnea is survived by her beloved husband, Hue; her children Chris (Leigh), Erike (Shane), and Jonathan (Torsha); Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.</p><p>She will be remembered as a devoted wife and a loving mother, Nana to her 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren whose kindness and dedication left an indelible mark on all who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>May Linnea’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her and serve as a reminder of the warmth and love she shared throughout her life.</p><p><br></p><p>We welcome you to provide your condolences, thoughts, and memories on our Tribute Wall.</p><p><br></p><p>Mowell Funeral Home & Cremation service, Fayetteville; www.mowells.com</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
