<p>Mr. Anthony Lavon Taylor of Tampa, FL passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605 with Pastor Dr. Antonio R. Hawkins, Officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610. </p><p>Anthony Lavon Taylor was born on October 30, 1979, in Tampa, FL, to Elizabeth Taylor. He spent his childhood in the Central Park and Ponce De Leon neighborhoods, as well as the surrounding Tampa Bay area, until he departed this earth to make heaven his home. He attended Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, FL. Anthony was a man of many talents, known as an Entrepreneur and the CEO of Taylor Enterprise. He was also a Skilled Truck Driver and shared his love for music as the family DJ, known as DJ Tank Moore. </p><p>Anthony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. He cherished spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included classic cars, tackling home improvement projects, riding ATVs, and hosting family gatherings as Moore’s family DJ. </p><p>He was preceded in death by: his father, Anthony Brooks; maternal grandparents, Louella and James Taylor; mother-in-love, Patricia Gillette-Williams; paternal grandparents, Charlie Carter Sr. and Arthur Vernon; brother, Justin George; uncles, Robert Earl Taylor Sr., Ryan N. Pressley Sr., Johnnie Moore Sr., Jackie Moore Sr., Robert Moore Sr., Rev. Willie Moore (Mary), Odell and Eddie Taylor; aunts, Shirley Moore, Sallie Lecount (Cludner), Mable Ball, Alene Williams, Aletha Armound (Jackie), and Ella Salters (Delmar); brother-in-law, Adrian Flowers Sr.; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Berry. </p><p>He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Synovia Taylor; daughter, Alasia Taylor; sons, Dejon and Tyrell Mann; grandson, Dejon Jr.; his loving and devoted mother, Elizabeth Taylor; maternal siblings, Roshe Taylor (Shequitha), Lenetta Taylor (Michael), Wokemia Taylor (Herman), Julius Newton (Westhaline), Isaiah Newton, Dominico Newton (Cory), and Joshua Newton (Enjoula); paternal siblings, Mercedes Engram, Porsche Hooker, Anthony Green, and Akeem Hooker; brothers-in-law, Ira Flowers and Xavier Williams; paternal grandmother, Juanita Vernon; maternal aunts and uncles, Paul Michael Sr. (Jacqueline), Paula Taylor, Carol Taylor, Everett Taylor Sr. (Mercedes), and Taquasha Pressley; paternal aunts and uncles, Donna Godwin, Artensie Bell (Darrell), Armanda Vernon, Arnita Gregory (Armando), Enda Carter, Charlie Carter Jr., Dewayne, Christopher, and Joseph Carter; favorite cousins, Remecia Hardy and Mario Ball; goddaughter, Najaie Slater; best friends, Chester Carithers and James Redd; and a host of nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. </p><p>A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N.
