<p>Cheryle Cline, 81, of Charles City, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service for Cheryle will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City with Pastor Don Preston officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at the church on Saturday.</p><p><br></p><p>Cheryle Ann (Springer) Cline, the daughter of Leonard and Arlene (Webster) Springer, was born October 15, 1943, in Charles City. She received her education in Charles City, graduating from Charles City High School in 1961 where she was a National Honor Society student. While in school, Cheryle worked as a co-op for attorneys Frye and McCartney.</p><p><br></p><p>Cheryle was employed at First Security Bank &amp; Trust for 23 years, owned and operated Cheryle’s Creations (a sewing business) for over 40 years, helped at Riverview Early Childhood Centers for five years, TLC Daycare for two years and after “retiring” from her business continued to make baby quilts. She was an avid reader who had a special love for Amish books, and she worked on many word searches. Cheryle also collected bears and Pillsbury Dough Boy items.</p><p><br></p><p>Cheryle was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She and Dale Cline were married on October 15, 1961, at First Methodist Church in Charles City, and enjoyed over 63 wonderful years together. This union was blessed with four children: Stephen, Scott, Shelley and Spencer. Family meant the world to Cheryle; she was Grandma to many and her cookies and brownies were the best!</p><p><br></p><p>Living family members include her husband, Dale of Charles City; son, Stephen (Angie) Cline of Buffalo, Minnesota; son, Scott (Julie) Cline of Charles City; daughter, Shelley (Sam) Niska of Chanhassen, Minnesota and son, Spencer Cline (Stella Frank) of Mason City; grandchildren: Jacob Cline, Bradley Cline (Tara Bailey), Alyssa Cline (Alberto Alvarez), Jaime (Srinu) Ekkurthi, Erika (Chris) Joiner, Jaiden Niska, Alexa Cline (Tanner Haut), Nicole (Paul) Unsen, Jordan (Austin) Voves, Hillary (Mason) Bunkofske and Sophia Paulsen (Austin Frank-Graves); great-grandchildren: Chancellor, Carson, Coy, Lucas, Lorenzo, Jaysri, Lennon, Vance, Dessen, Blair and baby Ekkurthi due June 2025; sisters-in-law: Darlene Springer and Linda Springer; many grand pups; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Cheryle was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Andrea Cline; three brothers: James, Richard and Roger Springer; and her beloved canine companion, Sophie Ann.</p><p><br></p>
