<p>Willene Neal was born May 15, 1949 in Nashville, Ga and she departed this life on January 24, 2025 at Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton, NJ.&nbsp; </p><p>She graduated from the Cook County High School in Adel, GA. </p><p>She was a resident of Trenton, NJ for over 56 years and worked for Mercerville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in the Dietary Department for over 35 years before her retirement in 2014.&nbsp; </p><p>Willene was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church in Ewing, NJ, where she sang on the choir. Willene enjoyed quartet style gospel music and traveled near and far with her sisters to support the Sensational Nightingales gospel singing group for many years.&nbsp; </p><p>Willene, affectionately known as “Chill Will”, was a sweet soul who enjoyed spending time with family, cooking big Sunday dinners, dancing, traveling to her home state of Georgia with her siblings each year, BINGO, and scratch-off tickets. </p><p>She was predeceased by her husband, Tommie L. Neal Sr.; father, Willie Earl West Sr.; mother, Tommie Lee Moore; step-father, Rev. Robert Moore; brothers, Walter West, Elliott West, George West, and Willie West; sisters, Rose Morris, Mary Brown, Annette Jackson, and Christine West. </p><p>She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children, Marilyn Gaines (Rodney) of Bordentown, NJ, Cheryl Lisa Conover (Richard) of Hamilton, NJ, and Tommie L. Neal Jr. (Lori) of Trenton, NJ; nine grandchildren, Dayvon West (Kiara), Siedah Meyers (Laquon), Kyarah Richmond, Tommie L. Neal III, Tommire Neal, Alexis Neal, Sydney Conover, Synai Conover, and Josiah Neal; 3 great grandchildren, Jayvon Johnson, Liam West, and Jameson West; sisters, Lillie Merritt of Jacksonville, Florida and Shirley Duncan of Cleveland Ohio; a brother, Rev. John D. Moore (Maria) of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Glenda Stephens of Lawrenceville, NJ and Mary Evans of Willingboro, NJ; a special sister-niece, Sharon Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives. </p>
