<p>Edward “Eddie” J. Schoeffel, age 47, of Evans City, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025.</p><p><br></p><p>Born September 8, 1977, in Butler, he was the son of Charles Edward and the late Judy Nicklas Schoeffel.</p><p><br></p><p>Eddie endured a long battle with kidney disease, but he was a fighter the whole way through. He loved sports, especially golf. Eddie also loved to joke around. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his father, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 21 years, Rachel Dill Schoeffel; his daughter, Alyssa Schoeffel; his brothers; Tim (Amy) and Todd (Jackie) Schoeffel; his in-laws, Tina and Chip Dill, Chad (Mary) Dill, and Becky Hubler (Chad); numerous nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and his dog Zoey.</p><p><br></p><p>Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Nicklas Schoeffel.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Homes, Inc., 116 E.
