<p> Norma E Reed age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Morton Hospital on January 21, 2025. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Paul R Reed. She was the Daughter of the late Frank & Florence ( McGinn) Astin. Sister to the late Richard Astin. Norma was a lifelong Taunton resident and attended Taunton Schools. Norma was a devoted member of the former St. John's Episcopal Church in Taunton where she sang in the choir, headed up the altar guild and was involved in many church committees. Norma was formally employed as a secretary for the president of Poole Silver Company for most of her career. She enjoyed reading, doing her daily word puzzles, watching murder mysteries and Lawrence Welk. She was a kind hearted giving woman who always put her family before everything, and would drop everything if one of her children or grandchildren needed anything. Norma was the mother of Kathy Reed of Taunton, Paul Reed Jr of Taunton and Karen Pine of Dighton. Grandmother of Kelsey Adomaitis, Paul Reed III, Samuel Pine, Michael Pine, Kathryn Beaudoin, Britany Reed and Jordan Reed, Great Grandmother of Kyle, Matthew, Paul and Delaney. Great Great Grandmother of Charlotte. Aunt of many Nieces and Nephews. She greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Saturday, January 25th from 8:30 to 10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton. </p>January 21, 202501/21/2025
