<p>Lonnie Slatter, beloved Father, grandfather and friend passed away on December 27, 2024 in Wasilla, AK, United States. He was born on October 4, 1951 in Gooding, ID, to Robert Edwards Slatter and Verna Louise Fluharty.</p><p><br></p><p>Lonnie is survived by his three children: Joseph Slatter and his spouse Chrystal Slatter, Tanya St. Germain and her spouse Beau St. Germain, and Sara Cole and her spouse Ian Cole. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Lonnie proudly served in the U.S. Army. He fractured 6 vertebras in his back and was medically discharged and lived out his days as a disabled vet. His passions were singing, reading his bible and playing bingo. His most memorial passion was helping people. He loved helping people and he did it consistently all through his life. Most people wouldn’t give the time and energy that he gave to many people saving their life and helping them turn their life around and turning people to God. He had a big heart for people in need and never wanted anyone to feel alone.</p><p><br></p><p>Lonnie will be missed.
