<p>Obituary for William Conicelli, Sr. (1947-2025)<br> William K. Conicelli, Sr., age 77, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Paoli Hospital. William was the son of the late Daniel Conicelli, Sr. and the late Ethel (nee Taylor) Conicelli, the devoted husband of the late Kathleen, who passed in April 2024, for 57 years, the loving father of Kathleen Goodman (the late Paul), Kimberly Cunnane (Gerald), Karen Conicelli and William Conicelli, Jr., the grandfather of his 8 grandchildren and the great-grandfather of his 4 great-grandchildren. In addition, William was predeceased by his two brothers, Daniel Jr. and Samuel and his one sister, Marie. <br> William was affectionately known as “Bear”. He was a proud veteran, serving our country in The U.S. Marine Corps from August of 1967 until February of 1969 during the Vietnam War. He earned the rank of Lance Corporal, was a rifleman and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Rifle Badge and a Purple Heart Medal. William worked for a few years when he was young at DeJohns Pizzeria (now Franzone’s). After returning from the military, William worked for many years as a steelworker at Lukens Steel and then for close to 20 years, he worked for Perna Septic Service. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with The Freedom Riders and playing pool with friends. <br> Interment with military honors will be private in George Washington Memorial Park.
