<p>William H. Kuppler, age 88 of Hinckley, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Northwestern Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born on December 3, 1936 the son of Howard B. and Mary Loise (Russell) Kuppler.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill was united in marriage on August 20, 1971 to Nancy Thomas Waldschmidt and they spent 53 happy years together. Mr. Kuppler was a longtime farmer in the Hinckley area. Bill was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL. Mr. Kuppler was a Lions Club Member since 1971. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Kuppler of Hinckley, IL; his children, Scott Kuppler of WI, Brett (Laurie Small) Kuppler of East Dundee, IL, Jill (Joe) Keller of Aurora, IL, Howard (Sari) Kuppler of Aurora, IL and Jim (Karen) Kuppler of Hinckley, IL; his two step children, Douglas Waldschmidt and Cynthia Waldschmidt both of Hinckley, IL; his 8 grandchildren; his 2 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Virginia Magnuson of Milwaukee, Wi, Margaret McAllister of Carlinville, IL, Phyllis Schlim of West Chicago, IL, Joyce Kaufman of Somonauk, IL, and John (Kathy) Kuppler of Sandwich, IL; brother-in-law, Ivan Lawson of DeKalb, IL; also many, many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jeffrey Kuppler; his brother, Charles Kuppler; and his three sisters, Katie Telleson, Charlotte Kuppler and Barb Lawson; as well as his brother-in-law Allen Kaufman.</p><p><br></p><p>A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 12760 Lee Road in Hinckley, IL.
