<p>Clarence E. Metz, 87, of Parkersburg, WV died Tuesday January 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Clarence and Louise (Pryor) Metz.</p><p><br></p><p>He retired from Corning Glass after forty-one years.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years Gay (Bell) Metz; son Robert E. Metz (Jennifer L.) of Winfield, WV; daughter Mindy Metz of Parkersburg; four grandchildren Riley E., Camryn S., Shelby F., and Logan E. Metz; brother Frank Metz; and sister Judy Bell.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be Friday 2:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 12-2 PM.</p><p><br></p>
