<p>Paul Eugene Sproles, 63, formerly of King, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. </p><p>Mr. Sproles was born on November 22, 1961, in Forsyth County to Ralph and Rita “Ricki” Sproles. He was a graduate of South Stokes High School and Johnson Bible College. In his earlier years, Paul served as a youth minister at First Christian Church of Kernersville. </p><p>Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Minister Ralph and Rita “Ricki” Sproles; his beloved children, son Jonathan Sproles and wife Natalia and daughter Elizabeth Sproles; his grandson, Leo Sproles; a sister, Kathy Jessup, and two nieces, Sarah Splawn and husband Matt, and Hannah Yoon and husband Joe. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mike Jessup. </p><p>A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Poplar Springs Christian Church in the family life center. </p><p>Slate Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Paul Eugene Sproles.
