<p>Lorraine (Sellers) Angell, 82, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine was born on July 26, 1942 in Ottawa to John Lloyd and Mary Janelle (White) Sellers. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township Highschool class of 1960. She was a member of the Grand Ridge United Methodist Church. Lorraine was a coach for the Grand Ridge Volleyball and Softball, where she took the volleyball team to the State Finals on two separate occasions. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling in leagues for Ottawa and Streator, and loved being with her grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her three children, Billi Jo Maggio, of Apache Junction, AZ, Jennifer (Shane) Towne, of Ottawa, Michael (Stacy) Angell, of Streator; nine grandchildren, Laura Mackenzie, Tara Smith, Cody, Travis, Jaren, and Madison Towne, and Logan, Garrett, and Adalyn Angell; and five great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Sellers; her brother, Delmar Wayne Sellers; and her sister, Mary Ruth Kates.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials may be directed to the family.</p><p><br></p>July 26, 1942 - January 4, 202507/26/194201/04/2025
