<p>Althea Ellen (Kelly) Jellinek , 92, of Coventry , wife of the late Ernst Jellinek died Thursday (December 12th, 2024) Born in New London CT , she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Boyle) Kelly , Althea grew up in New London and worked as a bookkeeper at Ted Truden Ford . She married Ernst Jellinek in 1956 and lived in Manchester CT until they moved to Coventry CT in 1962 where they stayed unit 1990 and retired to Largo FL for 20 years, before she returned to CT as a widow. She leaves 3 sons , Ernest , Kurt and Erik and their spouses , 5 grandchildren , Justin, Daniel, Ernie, Ian and Matthew all from Coventry Ct along with numerous great grandchildren. She is predeceased by sisters Margeret Schoffstall and Susan Schoffstall . An avid reader her whole life she was also a member of the red hat club, and enjoyed bingo, bike riding and walking almost every day . </p><p><br></p><p>Calling hours will be Thursday January 16th at Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home , 2665 Boston Turnpike, Coventry, CT 06238 from 4:00pm- 5:00pm followed by a celebration of life service at 5:00pm. </p>December 12, 202412/12/2024
