Kristin Anne Stevens
<p>Beloved mother, wife, sister and friend Kristin Anne (Roberts) Stevens, age 51, passed away on the morning of December 28, 2024. Up to her final moments Kristin maintained a focus on her family and continued to always put others before herself. There was never a birthday she forgot, a moment she took for granted, or detail she missed.</p><p><br></p><p>Kristin was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from North Catholic High School in 1991. From there she went on to a degree in Social Work from Slippery Rock University in 1996. In 1998, after a few years of dating, Kristin and James F. Stevens married. Kristin worked as a social worker for several years before having her first child in 1999 and deciding to focus her time on raising her family.</p><p><br></p><p>Kristin was a wonderful mother, raising three kids, who were her everything. She was a great friend and an amazing chef. Her skills in baking, grilling, and pizza making, and in pretty much everything else, was legendary in her family circle. She was a great host and loved to be social and travel and live a full life. She enjoyed eating out and always wanted to try new places and things.</p><p><br></p><p>In the past year she had rediscovered skiing and was looking forward to that adventure. She could talk on the phone with her sisters and children with the best of them, and always let you know she was there and she cared.</p><p><br></p><p>Kristin was preceded in death by her infant son, Owen. Kristin is survived by her husband, Jamie who relied on her so, her children, who made her so desperately proud, Ryan, Madeline, and Abigail, her parents, Tom and Carol Roberts, her in-laws, Phil and Marcie Buchwalter, her sisters, Renee (Jeff) Jaros and Melissa (Ali) Ayca and many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kristin’s life during a visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the King Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA.</p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. Mary of the Assumption 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw PA 15116.</p><p><br></p><p>She will be laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery of Saint Mary, Glenshaw, PA.</p><p><br>In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Kristin’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Kristin’s family at www.kingfuneralhome.com.</p><p><br></p>June 14, 1973 - December 28, 202406/14/197312/28/2024
