Lorraine L. Meyers

Lorraine L. Meyers (nee Klepczynski), of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on December 26, 2024, at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of Charles F. Meyers; the loving mother of Michele Downey and her husband Sean, Colleen Meyers and her partner Robert Stanavitch, and Reneé Meyers and her partner Jaime Schmitt; and the cherished grandmother of Brian, Brandon and Erin Downey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Virginia Klepczynski, and her brother, Raymond D. Klepczynski.

Born and raised in Bristol, PA, Lorraine attended St Mark Elementary school and graduated from Bristol High School, class of 1959. After graduation, Lorraine began working at Victor Chemical where she met her husband of 58 years, Charles F. Meyers. They married in 1966 and moved to Levittown where they raised their 3 daughters. After the girls started school, Lorraine eventually went back to work at Rohm and Haas as a data entry supervisor. She was an extremely devoted mother for her 3 girls, volunteering as the leader of Brownie Troop 529. She was a dance mom—running the concession stand at the recitals, helping out whenever needed. Later in life she found so much joy in being a Mammy to her 3 grandchildren, attending numerous sporting events, dance recitals and musical productions. She also attended many cheerleading events that Colleen was the coach of and attending events in Renee’s kindergarten classroom.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lorraine’s viewing on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Molden Funeral Home, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, and to her Funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol.
