<p>It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Marie Brotman (Guerriero), known to many as Donna Greer, who peacefully left us on December 11, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on November 1, 1952, to Nicholas and Marie Guerriero, Donna lived a life full of love, dedication, and joy.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna was the loving mother of Nicole Rodriguez and Nathan McCabe, and the proud grandmother of Giavanna Angelina Tara Benitez. She was a devoted sister to David&nbsp;Guerriero, Ron Guerriero, and Barbara Boyle. Her family meant the world to her, and she treasured her role as a grandmother more than anything.</p><p><br></p><p>As a hardworking and dedicated professional, Donna made a significant impact in her community. For almost 30 years, she served as the Director of Catering at Spinelli's in East Boston, where her passion for hospitality and attention to detail shone through. Donna also had a long and successful career in music, having performed as a singer and musician for decades, and worked as the Director of Music at Lombardo’s, where her talent and love for the art were deeply felt.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna was also a long-time friend of Bill W., celebrating 26 years of sobriety with the support of the fellowship she held so dear. Her commitment to living a fulfilling life was a testament to her resilience and strength.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna's passions included travel, cooking, and savoring the finer things in life, especially the moments spent with her loved ones. Her vibrant spirit, warmth, and love for life will be greatly missed by all who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life will be held on January 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Spinelli's in Lynnfield. All are welcome to join the family in remembering and honoring the incredible woman Donna was.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made on Donna's behalf to Rosie's Place, 889 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02118, one of the many organizations Donna supported throughout her life.</p>
