<p>Charles M. Hogan Sr.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>March 12, 1937 – December 17, 2024</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charles M. Hogan Sr., age 87, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his home in Edison, New Jersey. Born in Oakland, California, and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Charles moved to New Jersey in 1960, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to family and community.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Charles served his country with honor in the United States Army, earning a Medal of Good Conduct. After his military service, he dedicated 42 years to Ford Motor Company in Edison as a Quality Controller. His work ethic and attention to detail were unmatched.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Charles was an avid bowler who enjoyed the tranquility of the beach. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Hogan, Charles leaves behind his devoted wife of 67 years, Marie Hogan. His legacy lives on through his children, Charles M. Hogan Jr., Donna Sullivan (husband Scott Einbinder), and Lori Maino (husband Dominick). His memory will be carried forward by his grandchildren, Laura Sullivan, Craig Sullivan (wife Kelly), and Sara Maino; as well as his great-grandchildren, Natalie Tealer, Cassidy Telewoda, Carter Sullivan, and Cole Sullivan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever hold him in their hearts.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>A Celebration of Life will take place on January 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison, NJ 08817.</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>The Hogan family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and condolences.
