<p>Steve Simmons Dews Jr. aka “Sweet Tooth”, “JR” age 43 departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born On October 2, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio to Consuelo Lewis and Steve Simmons Dews Sr. </p><p>He was a proud resident of Dayton and was a former graduate of Meadowdale High School class of 2000, and he also obtained his Associate’s Degree of Business Administration from Sinclair Community College as of 2021. He was employed at Fuyao Glass America where he worked as a CBC Inspector. </p><p>Steve was a fly guy, a real standup guy, loved to cook (baking was his specialty), always had the ability to make people smile, very competitive, great game player, greatest dominos, spades and chess player. His hobbies included playing basketball and watching football, his favorite teas was the Kansas City Chiefs. Don’t forget he played as a getaway drive in Fentanyl, let him tell it he was gone be the next Hollywood star. Jr was the best Father, Brother, and Uncle, he would give you the shirt off his back. </p><p>He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Ophelia Dews, his Mommy Consuela Lewis, and his Nephew Deshaun Jackson. </p><p>He is survived by his Daddy Steve Simmons Dews Sr., bonus mom Leketha Dews; Sisters I’lliyah Dews, Tamkea Dews, and Rosetta Lewis; Brother Fred Miles jr.; Nieces Shae’Ona, Diamond, and Nevaeh. Nephews Keshaun, Cameron, Sincere, Stephon, Keithen, Great Nephew: Storm. Special Cousins Joshua, Isaiah, Edward, Jamie, and many Aunts, cousins, and extended family members, including Kanyaa and his girlfriend Thalia Thompson, and her four children. Jr. was a very dependable part of our family. Our family chain will be forever missing a link. </p>October 2, 1981 - November 30, 202410/02/198111/30/2024
