<p>James (Jim) McDade, 81, of Pensacola, FL passed away December 2, 2024. </p><p><br></p><p>Jim was born February 8, 1943 in Knoxville, TN to parents, Ralph and Dorothy McDade. </p><p><br></p><p> Growing up he was a boy scout then attended Fulton High School, graduating in 1961, after high school he attended the University of Tennessee. Before joining the military, he married Linda McDade. James was an editor for The Sentinel (Gulf Breeze News), did marketing for Baptist Hospital, Pensacola Photo Supply and was also a professional photographer. </p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded by his sister, Judy Morris. </p><p><br></p><p>Jim is survived by daughter, Jenni (Andy) Arnold; son Chad McDade; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Alec Arnold; his long-time girlfriend, Jerri McDermott; with many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>There will be a Celebration of Life in January 2025 in Pensacola, FL, Jim will be laid to rest in the McDade family plot in Knoxville, TN at a later time. </p><p><br></p><p>Donations can be made to the Veterans Affairs.</p>February 8, 1943 - December 2, 202402/08/194312/02/2024
