Ezetta Cleveland

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Ezetta Cleveland who left us on December 1, 2024 after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a funeral service will be held in her honor at Victorious Life Church on December 7, 2024 at 1:30pm. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.

Ezetta Cleveland was born to parents Freddie D. and Leah Douglas. She was one of nine siblings. Known for her commitment to Christ, her sense of humor, love of family, and her undeniable no holds barred approach to motherhood, Ezetta was a blessing to all who knew her. Our mother loved to cook, spend quality time with family, and celebrate every good thing, whether it was a major goal accomplished or simply getting an A on a test. She was our Biggest Fan. There aren’t enough words to express her significance in our life. We ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roy, of 51 years her children Cory, Tiffany, Teresa, and Teretta, her grandkids, Quayveon, Jazetta, SirSpencer, Isaiah, Caleb, Jeremiah, Elijah, Tyrin, Torae, Tyrese, Corey, and Christian, her siblings, Marvin Douglas, Maxwell Douglas, Christopher Douglas and Anthony Douglas along with ten great grandchildren leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness and strength. She was a beacon of love, her absence leaves a void in our hearts.

Dear Family,

I am grateful that Aunt Zetta was an example of a believing and God-fearing woman. She was also very beautiful, stylish, funny, and a great wife and mother. See you when Christ returns.
