<p>Brian Kristofor passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2024, just days after being diagnosed with metastatic cancer, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Born on March 7, 1966, to Ernest and Eileen (Carney) Kristofor, Brian was raised in Northeast Philadelphia. He attended Father Judge High School and worked for Amtrak for 25 years, where he was well-regarded by his co-workers for his strong work ethic.</p><p>Brian had a deep love for all things Philadelphia, following its baseball and football teams, and taking pride in his tight-knit South Philadelphia neighborhood. The Pennsport dogs were naturally drawn to him, sensing his innate kindness. He will be remembered and dearly missed for his witty sense of humor, easy-going nature, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.</p><p>Brian is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his beloved siblings, Colleen and Matthew; his loving nephews, Dylan and Nolan; and his devoted long-term girlfriend, Debi Sova.</p><p>Family and friends are invited to Brian’s visitation on Monday, December 2, from 8:00 AM to 10:10 AM at Murphy Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 2239 South 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19148. His funeral mass will follow at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2319 South 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19148. Burial will be held privately later at Resurrection Cemetery alongside his parents. Donations in Brian’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association (https://www.lung.org) or New Leash On Life USA (https://newleashonlife.org).</p><p><br></p>
