<p>In Loving Memory of Billy Joe Hudson Jr., born February 26, 1956, in Key West, Florida, to Billy Joe Hudson Sr. and Billie “Charlene” Hudson. Bill graduated from Marseilles High School in Illinois in 1974. After graduation, he returned to Northwest Arkansas, where he later met and married the love of his life, Julie. Together, they built a life rooted in love.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill was a devoted husband, father, and “Papa,” He was a man who never met a stranger. His gift for storytelling and his outgoing, warm, nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He loved the outdoors, capturing life’s beauty through photography, and riding in the side-by-side with his best friend, his dog Tiny. Even more than that, he absolutely loved all of his grandchildren and spending time with them.</p><p><br></p><p>He had a special heart for children and made a profound impact on their lives, whether through Scouts, church activities, his grandchildren, or even neighborhood kids.</p><p>He was well-known as the Longview Drive traffic controller which was a constant source of great stories.</p><p>He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His selflessness and unwavering devotion to God and family were evident in all he did. Those who knew him feel blessed to have been part of his life,and we were proud to call him ours.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Hudson Sr.; his mother, Billie “Charlene” Hudson; and his younger brother, Johnny Dale Hudson.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Hudson; his children, Billy Charles Hudson (Keysha) of Rogers, Erin Lee Donnell (Jeff) of Pea Ridge, Holly Anne Chesnut (Jamie) of Huntsville, and Shawn Taylor Hudson (Elsbeth) of Siloam Springs. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Sydney Donnell, Lynlee Walker, Talen Hudson, Oliver Chesnut, Cora Hudson, Silas Donnell, Hudson Chesnut, Dean Hudson; and one great-grandchild, Jamison Donnell. He is also survived by his sister Becky Pinion (Kenny) of Huffman, Texas and sister in law Belinda Hudson (Johnny) of Rogers Ar. And many nieces, nephews, family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>The family finds comfort in the words of Isaiah 57:1-2:</p><p>“The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.”</p><p><br></p><p>Bill will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love, kindness, and joy he brought to the world.</p><p>Visitation 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 30, 2024, with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Believers Baptist Church in Rogers.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Julie Hudson, 311 Madison 3379, Huntsville, Arkansas 72740.&nbsp;&nbsp;Honorary Pallbearers Billy Charles Hudson, Jeff Donnell,&nbsp;Shawn Taylor, Hudson Isaiah Crossfield,</p><p>Jamie Chesnut, and James Simpson.&nbsp;Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home 306 N 4th St. Rogers, AR.
