<p>McAllen ~ Israel Torres, 81, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He was born on Wednesday, October 13, 1943 in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the son of Antonio and Guadalupe (Alvarez) Torres. </p><p>He is survived by his children: Juan I. Torres, Ana Gonzalez, Elizabeth Quintanilla, Teresa Torres, Jesus A. Torres and Maricela Alvarez; siblings: Francisco Torres, Javier Torres, Ruben Torres, Arturo Torres, Marte Torres and Ramona Barajas; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.&nbsp; </p><p>Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024 with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p>
